I have a 17 year old calico named Lucy. I remember picking her out like it was yesterday. She was about 2 weeks old, I was 7. I had a friend who lived down the street whose cat had kittens. I immediately wanted the calico. I have not regretted it a day since. Lucy really is the best cat anyone could wish for. She's loving and cuddly. At 17, she's very active despite having had some health problems with using the restroom and her arthritis. Ever since her big brother Shroeder passed about 2 years ago, Lucy has become VERY vocal. Lucy has been a part of the family from day one and has seen us adopt and lose various hamsters, gerbils, toads, frogs, hedgehogs, sugargliders, and our dear Shroeder. She has seen me through my baby teeth, braces, wisdom teeth, various hospital stays, and bad relationships. It will absolutely devastate me when I lose my little old lady, but in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy her every second I can......thus the 8,000 photos. :D
