Ok... I would like to talk a little about a topic that has recently been causing my parents some frustration.
I am pretty understanding, but what I don't understand is why my parents can't grasp the concept of MINE. Mainly, stuff that is mine. Basically, anything that I touch, chew, see, smell or put my mouth on... oh, anything that I lay on, jump on or over or anything that I see walking around.
MINE.
For instance, I have several beds. I have my bed. Then the big blue bed that they call a "couch", My favourite though is the one that is upstairs. It's in this room that my parents go to everynight. I let them use this bed because, hey... they're good people.
I will NOT however, tolerate those snobby cats on there! Understandable? Yes... I think so! See, if they are too stuck up to play with me, then they certainly can't use MY bed. Like the other day... the black one (that they call snow ball for some reason, and I thought DOGS were colour blind! Actually... I'm not going to complain.. at least I'm not named "Santa's Little Helper!" ((thanks mom!!!)) ) was laying on my bed!!
I'm like... HEY! GET OFF MY BED!!! And she just sat there looking at me with that... pfff, there's a gate between us and nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah you can't get me look and *turned away*. Well, I SNAP!! I LOSE IT!!! not really... I just like those "Champ" bits that my dad plays sometimes... so I jump over the gate and chase her off the bed. Then I can SMELL her still on the bed and I'm like, how can I get rid of this cat smell AND let her know that I mean business and this bed is MINE!?
And without even realizing it... I started peeing where she was laying. And it hit me! Of COURSE! I can PEE on it and then she'll FOR SURE know that this bed is mine because MY PEE is on it! Who would pee on something that isn't theirs??? EUREKA!!
Well... my Mom runs in and chases me off my bed! I guess I peed on her side of the bed and she didn't understand that this was to ward off the cat.... but that she should feel free to lay in my pee. She's my mom! : )
Well, she didn't understand. So, off comes the sheets but thankfully some got into the mattress.... those cats will know for sure now who's bed this is.
Mom must have peed on the other side of the bed herself, because for some reason... last night Dad was sleeping on the side that Mom usually sleeps on.
People....
