The only suggestion that I have is to very slowly let Ta-Ya be around men and especially men that are gentle and like dogs. Maybe let the men give the dog treats or toys or something like that.

About Me:

I am married with 9 human grown children. My husband Lynn and I have 4 furbabies. 3 dogs and 1 cat. Our furbabies are TeddyBear a Poodle 41/2lbs.,LilyAdele a Chihuahua21/2lbs. , Ta-Ya a Chihuahua3llbs. and a black ferrall Cat named Maggie May that outweighs them all together at 20lbs. We love our animals very much and don't want to imagine life with out them. Recently I lost Lily's Mama , Peanut in a Delta accident. She was a 21/2lb. Chihuahua. She had been my mental health dog. Ta-Ya is now a mental health dog in training.

He truly is a King. He is an Australian Shepherd/Chow mix, and I call him Dennis the Mentor because of his herding instinct. Today, I told my mother that he has a sense of humor. He uses his teeth to get my attention, especially when all his pleas fall on deaf ears. He makes me laugh!
