Noelle, my close friend, gave me lots of golden advice (I got to give her credit for it). When we brought Ginger back, we were more prepared and had a better idea of the things she need and the amount we have to come up with to provide a comfortable life for her.

My husband, Mike, and I have not had a dog in our lives. It's really quite exciting, yet lots of uncertainties abound. It came quite suddenly to us, that we actually have a dog in our house, and suddenly, with it comes a responsibility. We have always loved dogs and wanted to have one, and told ourselves that we are really going to give fair time to the dog, if we ever had one.

We brought Ginger home on 19 August, 2007, so late at night! She came to us with just one bark and she teared when she knew that the owner may be leaving her forever with us. But brave Ginger responded and warmed to us quickly. Ginger has few humble possessions with her. A simple girl with a simple heart.

Ginger came with a canvas lanyard type of leash (non-retractable), a water dispenser, a food bowl (Green) and that's it! Meal-wise, she had 3 cans of Pasta and Cheese ( for us to star
