I keep eating my mommy's flip flops

First I must say my mommy buys me so many toys to keep me busy. I do love my toys don't get me wrong, but my favorite thing to chew is my mommy's flip flops. Daddy has some too but I only like Mommy's. At first I thought it was kind of a game. I would chew up a flip flop and mommy would go and buy me new toys. mommy says it's not a game. Anyone have any suggestions to help me break this flip flop craze? Oh by the way, Mommy tired hiding them in the closets, but I know how to slide the door open and get them out.

She tried the 'No' approach, distraction approach, reward approach and many more. in the end she bought me a pair of socks, just for me? I wouldn't touch them! So mummy decided i was addicted to them. Maybe you are addicted to your mummy's flip flops! Mummy rarely wears flip flops but i'll have a try next time she's got them on and hopefully it won't be too long before she does because it looks like i'm missing out

I'm not sure if I agree with it, but they say it works. Sounds mean to think of an animal getting a sniff of ceyenne pepper! My dog just ate mine couple days ago, and my hubsands few days before that.

I have no idea how to stop her from chewing everything up. My dog is border collie mix, and is one years old.
