My cat Linus is very laid back and mellow. He just goes with the flow. You can pick him up and do anything to him and he does not care. He does not mind any other animals. In fact, my dog wrestles with him like he is a dog. Sometimes he can be pretty rough and Linus just wrestles right back.
He can sparatically be very lovey and then he demands attention. He always seems to do it when I am busy doing homework. He shoves himself on to my book and no matter how many times I push him off of it, he comes right back. I basically have to battle my cat in order to get homework done.
He is a very sweet and independent cat and I love him very much.

YOU KNOW MY CAT NAME IS CHOCOLATE AND HE LIKES TO ATTACK PEOPLE ON THERE LEGS.WHEN I SAY ATTACK I MEAN HE TAKES HIS PAWS AND CLAWS GRABS YOUR LEG AND TRY TO FIT HIS TEETH AROUND YOUR LEG.IT MAY NOT SOUND PAINFUL BUT IT REALLY IS!!NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG MY CATS ADDORABLE AND LOVES TO CUDDLE UP NEXT TO YOU WHEN HE WANTS T0 BE RUBBED BUT WHEN HE IS HUNGREY HE LETS YOU KNOW.MY CAT CAN JUMP UP ON THE DOOR HANDLE AND HANG THERE AND THE TWIST THE DOOR OPEN.HE CAN ALSO TURN THINGS ON AND OFF.I HAD MY CAT EVERSINCE HE WAS A BABY.WELL ACTULLAY WHEN HE WAS FIRST BORN I SAW HIM.I HAD A CAT NAMED DIAMOND.WELL SHE GOT PREGNANT AND HAD KITTENS ON EASTER DAY.SHE HAD 5 KITTENS.ALL THE KITTENS WERE GIRLS BESIDES CHOCOLATE.ANYWAY I HAD TO GIVE THEM TO NOAH'S ARK CAUSE MY GRANDMA SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT DIAMOND HAVING ANY OTHER KITTENS AND I REALLY WANTED TO KEEP CHOCOLATE CAUSE HE WAS THE RUNT OF THE FAMILY AND VERY,VERY SMALL.NOT EVEN THE SIZE OF MY PALM.

My cat crash is so sweet to me buut totallly hates everyone else! She can be a sourpuss but she can also be SO cute like in the winter when she is playing outside and her paws get cold she jumps really high at an angle and it is SO comical, and cute! She is black and white with the wierdest eyes ( one is a dark blue and the other is a really pale green!) she is the best mouser too!

My other cat Daxter is so sweet she NEVER gets mad and is always purring and cuddly. She is calico with pale green eyes! She has the most messed up orange patches like orange stipes down her leg or an orange butt! :-) And Riku is my little boy, he always has to have his way or you'll never here the end of it ( litterally! He won't be quite he will sit in one spot for hours on end and mew at the top of his lungs!) he is very small and he used to be black then he started to turn gray and now he is black with orange underfur it's SO wierd! Jenn/nick its nice that you have kitty that you can hold as much as you like. Also likes other animals that always a plus. My cat wants my attention in weird moments as well. Like when I am typing or sleeping.

Rhona, your kitty sounds interesting as well. In fact never seen cat never liked. Small ones are always cute, usually fall for them as well. Whenever i go to shelter I usually fall for black cats, and older cats more so.

Dilly, your first cat I would love to see picture of the eyes. Second one kind of sounds like one of my cats.

My kitty is now 17. When we had to put her 18 year old big brother down about 2 years ago, her personality TOTALLY changed. She used to be very independent. She would come and get some loving from me once in a while, then go back and do her own thing. Now she's like a little puppy. She'll follow me not only from room to room, but even across the room if I get up to grab something. She used to meow a couple times a day, at that, and now it's CONSTANT. Her big brother was around from day one for her, and I think him suddenly being gone completely traumatized her and I think she's very afraid it will happen again with me. She is the sweetest cuddliest cat I could ever possibly hope for, and I truly hope that she long outlives her big brother, but only in good health!

Thats so sad. Funny how your cat is acting now.
Were they close? or is she just scared?
